Gacha Stickers

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Gacha Stickers Android app processes, why it is used, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.

Effective: August 7, 2026 App: Gacha Stickers for Android Package: com.gachha.sticks

Your advertising privacy choices: In the app, open Explore → menu (⋮) → Privacy choices. When required in your region, this lets you review or change consent and opt-out choices. You can change your decision later; changing it may not affect processing that was already lawful.

1. Who we are and scope

Gacha Stickers ("we", "us", or "our") is the independent developer and data controller for the Gacha Stickers app. This policy applies to the Android app and this privacy-policy page. It does not govern WhatsApp or third-party advertisements, websites, or apps, which operate under their own policies.

The app lets you discover, download, create, edit, publish, rate, report, and add sticker packs to compatible WhatsApp applications. Some features are available locally, while community, advertising, diagnostic, and notification features use online services.

2. Information we process

Category Examples When it is processed
App account and instance data Anonymous Firebase user ID, Firebase installation/app-instance identifiers, consent state, and app version. When the app initializes online services or you use community features.
Device and technical data Device model, operating-system version, language, country or coarse region, network type, timestamps, and diagnostic identifiers. For compatibility, security, analytics, crash diagnosis, and performance monitoring.
App activity Screens viewed; searches, filters, and sorting; pack views, downloads, likes, ratings, saves, shares, reports, creation and publishing steps; feature use; session and engagement information. When you interact with the app. Analytics collection may depend on your region and consent choices.
Advertising data Consent or opt-out state, advertising identifiers when permitted, ad requests, placements, formats, impressions, clicks, load/show outcomes, rewards, revenue, and advertising partner. When advertising is allowed and an ad is requested or displayed.
Diagnostics and performance Crash reports, stack traces, app state, device state, startup and network timing, slow or failed operations, and bounded technical context. When a crash, error, or measured operation occurs.
User content and communications Sticker images and pack metadata you choose to publish, ratings, reports, and feedback text you submit. Only when you actively submit or publish the information.
Notification data Notification permission state, topic preferences, app-instance notification token, delivery/open events, and campaign identifier. If notification features are available and you opt in or interact with a notification.

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or precise location to create an app account. The app uses anonymous authentication. Please do not include sensitive personal information in pack metadata, reports, or feedback.

3. Why we use information

  • Provide core features, including community packs, downloads, publishing, ratings, reports, and sticker-pack handoff to WhatsApp.
  • Remember local preferences and feature state on your device.
  • Measure app usage, retention, feature adoption, acquisition, advertising performance, and rewarded-ad completion.
  • Diagnose crashes, errors, slow operations, and release regressions, and improve reliability and performance.
  • Display and measure advertising, prevent repeated reward grants, and detect invalid or abusive activity.
  • Deliver optional topic-based notifications and measure whether they work.
  • Moderate community content, investigate reports, respond to feedback, enforce rules, and protect users and services.
  • Comply with legal obligations and honor consent, objection, deletion, and opt-out requests.

5. Service providers and sharing

We do not exchange your personal information for money. We disclose or allow the processing of information only as needed to operate the app, provide advertising, comply with the law, or protect users and the service. Advertising-related disclosures may be treated as a "sale", "sharing", or targeted advertising under some US state laws; the app provides the legally required choices through its consent message.

  • Google Firebase and Google services: anonymous authentication, databases and storage, app integrity, Remote Config, Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring, Cloud Messaging, consent management, and Google ad demand. See Firebase Privacy and Security and the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Unity LevelPlay, Unity Ads, and participating ad partners: ad mediation, delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and impression-level revenue. See the Unity Privacy Policy. The exact partners eligible to receive consent are shown in the consent message.
  • WhatsApp: the app starts a WhatsApp sticker-pack handoff only when you ask it to. WhatsApp independently processes information under its Privacy Policy.
  • Authorities or successors: information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or as part of a business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards.

6. Advertising, consent, and opt-out choices

The app uses the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and store privacy choices where required. Depending on your location and selection, ads may be personalized or non-personalized, and some partners may use device identifiers, cookies or similar mobile technologies, coarse location, and app activity to select, deliver, measure, secure, and limit advertising.

You can revisit eligible choices in Explore → menu (⋮) → Privacy choices. You may also reset or limit the advertising identifier in Android settings. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily remove ads; it changes which data may be used to select them. Some limited data may still be processed for security, frequency capping, aggregate measurement, or legal compliance where permitted.

7. Images and community content

Images you import for editing are processed on your device for sticker creation and background removal. They are not uploaded merely because you select or edit them. If you choose to publish a sticker pack, the selected sticker files, tray image, and pack metadata are uploaded to Firebase so the pack can be reviewed and made available to the community. Content you publish may be visible to other users and may be saved or shared by them.

Only upload content you have the right to use. Avoid faces, names, contact details, or other personal information unless you have an appropriate legal basis and the permission of the affected person.

8. Retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including service operation, moderation, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and dispute resolution. Retention periods vary by data type and provider. Published content and associated moderation records may remain until removed, deleted upon a valid request, or retained longer when required for safety or legal reasons. Local preferences remain on your device until cleared or the app is uninstalled.

We use access controls, authenticated requests, encrypted network transport provided by our platforms, app-integrity checks, and least-necessary telemetry. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing;
  • opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing as defined by applicable law;
  • appeal a denied request and contact your local data-protection authority; and
  • receive equal service and pricing for exercising applicable privacy rights.

To change advertising choices, use Privacy choices in the app. To request access or deletion, open Explore → menu (⋮) → Send feedback, choose Complaint, begin the message with Privacy request, and describe the request. Sending the request from the app allows us to associate it with the anonymous account used to submit community activity. We may need to verify the request and may retain limited records when legally permitted or required.

10. Children

Gacha Stickers is intended for a general/Teen audience and is not directed to children under 13 or the higher minimum age required in their country. Do not use the app if you are below the applicable minimum age. If you believe a child provided personal information, submit a privacy request so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

11. International data transfers

Our providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, transfers are protected by recognized legal mechanisms and provider safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Provider policies linked above contain more information about their data locations and transfer safeguards.

12. Policy changes and contact

We may update this policy as features, providers, or laws change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice in the app when a material change requires it.

For privacy questions or requests, open Gacha Stickers and use Explore → menu (⋮) → Send feedback. Choose Complaint and start the message with Privacy request.
